DocView Capture Web
DocView Capture Web is the browser-based workspace for the full document capture lifecycle – from scanning and quality control through indexing, review, search, and reporting. It delivers the same core processing capabilities as the desktop client, accessible from any modern web browser without installing software locally.
This guide explains what each web module is for, how operators, supervisors, and administrators use it day to day, and how the modules work together to move documents through the capture pipeline.
Getting started
- Sign in – open the DocView Capture Web URL in your browser and log in with your credentials.
- Choose a module – the navigation bar at the top shows the modules available to your role.
- Start processing – select a batch from the module’s batch list and begin working.
Browser-based access
Available modules depend on user permissions and server configuration. If you cannot see a module, contact your system administrator to check your role assignments.

How to navigate
Use the sidebar on the left to jump to any module page. Each page describes the purpose of the module, its key workspace areas, and the actions available to operators. Pages are ordered to follow the typical document processing flow: scan or import first, then QC, index, review, and finally search or report.
Tip
Bookmark the modules you use most often for quick access. Dark-mode preference is saved automatically by your browser.
